So yeah. Even though I've been a failure these past two-or-so months, at least I haven't forgotten the yearly squidfeathers tradition of alternate universe comics. Also, HAPPY SKYRIM FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE PRE-ORDERED IT. I did not. I am ashamed. Also, happy veteran's day, for those of you who celebrate it. I have veterans in my family, too, but they were... kind of... on the other side of the war. Sooooo yeah. Anyway, here's the first comic celebrating 11-11-11!!

I kind of didn't have a scanner (I'm at a hotel in Pasadena right now for some reason... I woke up tied to a bed that smelled like vodka, but whatever), so I took pictures of my comics with a camera phone. I will get better quality pics if I can.

For clarification, Joel is not coming back alive. You're welcome.

For some reason whenever school starts I decide to be much more pro-active.... So I uploaded everything I had, and I'm working on a lot more stuff, and I plan on posting at least once a week from now on (maybe). Over the summer I got an awesome USB that I've got working with my scanner and I've worked out a system for retrieving my files so I'll be able to upload without any time consuming hassles.

Anyway, this comic is actually from last year, but I'll have more recent ones up soon.

The play was okay.

It was quite interesting if you knew what was going on.

A lot of people were being really quiet with their lines.

The cast party afterwards was fun too.

Charles put salt in my hair.

We kept making blonde jokes, most of which I didn't get.

And then I spilled marinara sauce on the ground.

Charles Ashley and I figured that we'd be better off getting eaten by hobos than getting murdered by the Waiters.

I just sneezed on my stuff. Hallelujah.

The Shattered Planet

A story by Duncan Smith

1. Into the Light from the Sweet, Sweet Darkness

Time means nothing in the void. Darkness is all that one finds in the eternal deep. As such, the small light that flourished in its depths was a phenomenon beyond the knowledge of any and all in this universe; the void was supposedly constant. Eternal. Somehow, this one small bright individual became in the midst of the void, an embodiment of pure will.

The light saw nothing, and fear took hold. It searched for the way out of the nothing, but found nothing of the like. Its despair began to grow, as it floundered through the nothingness. Its light had no way out. There was no conduit for it’s silent power. The darkness was absolute, allowing for no hope of escape.

The little light had almost lost hope when a way opened. The way into the light, to the real and true world behind the veil that was the void. And so the little flame went through the gate, into a new world. A world from which he would never escape. No acts of mercy would be given in this land, no portals to a new world. For sometimes, it is better to stay in the cool, calm darkness, rather than to go jumping headlong into the light.

This is the first bit. More to come. and yes, i double posted. DONT KILL ME!!
